Phoenix Favorite CC’s on Central Leans into Soulful Roots with New Menu Direction and Extended Hours
Phoenix, AZ- June 2025- In a bold and intentional move, CC’s on Central is embracing what it does best: soulful, Southern food that feels like home. Starting early June, the beloved midtown café will relaunch with a sharper focus on fried chicken, fish and classic po’boys-marking a return to its Louisiana-inspired roots and the food its guests have been craving most. CC’s originally opened as a Southern-leaning breakfast and lunch café, aiming to appeal to the surrounding corporate crowd. But over time, it became clear what people really came for-and kept asking for -was the soul. This change is a celebration of the feedback. “We’re done trying to be everything to everybody”, says Chef Devan Cunningham. “This new direction is about leaning into what we love, what our community has asked for, and what we know we do best. Fried chicken, fried fish, shrimp and fish po’boys. That’s it. That’s the Story” Alongside the tighter, flavor-packed menu comes a change in hours. With new service from 11am-8pm Tuesday to Saturday, CC’s will now be better positioned to catch the after-work crowd and families looking for a comforting meal later in the day.
The refreshed concept will officially launch in early June.
