He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Business from Arizona State University, where he was also a member of the prestigious Sports Business Scholars program for the top 20 sports business students before furthering his expertise with a Master’s in Business Administration from Grand Canyon University, with an emphasis in sports business.

Leaving an Impact in Arizona

As the Executive Assistant for the Arizona Commission of African American Affairs, he played a pivotal role in advocating for policies and initiatives that uplifted the Black community. Additionally, as the co-founder and director of African American Reconstruction, he dedicated himself to community development, fostering opportunities for economic growth and empowerment. Through African American Reconstruction, Taylor has spearheaded initiatives such as annual 5K runs to promote health and unity, teen conferences that provide mentorship and leadership training, and scholarship programs that have awarded thousands of dollars to deserving students. His organization has also led community giveback efforts, ensuring that underserved populations receive essential resources and support.
Taylor also helped spearhead the annual Arizona African-American Legislative Conference, a vital event aimed at addressing key issues and fostering dialogue among community leaders.
