NCBW Phoenix Metro to Host 2026 Madam C.J. Walker Economic Empowerment Expo & Conference, Presented by Black Girl Vitamins

Annual Conference Returns with Three Learning Tracks, Youth Programming, Feature Plenary on Business Policy, Trailblazer Tribute, and Speed Networking; Tickets on Sale. 

PHOENIX, Ariz., April 16, 2026 — The National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc., Phoenix Metropolitan Chapter (NCBW Phoenix Metro) today announced the 2026 Madam C.J. Walker Economic Empowerment Expo & Conference, presented by Black Girl Vitamins. The annual event will be held at the PERA Club, 1 East Continental Drive, Tempe, Ariz., and will bring together entrepreneurs, homeowners, investors, and community leaders for a full day of programming designed to advance Black women’s economic power. Tickets go on sale Thursday, April 16, 2026. 

The conference honors the legacy of Madam C.J. Walker, America’s first self-made female millionaire, through workshops, expert panels, a vendor expo, and a signature luncheon. The 2026 program features three concurrent learning tracks, Speed Networking, and dedicated youth programming. Jennifer Juma, Chief Strategy Officer at Black Girl Vitamins will deliver the keynote address. 

Conference Tracks 

The 2026 conference will feature four learning tracks: 

Small Business & Entrepreneurship — Resources, funding strategies, and expert guidance for entrepreneurs and business owners at every stage.

Housing & Homeownership — Tools and expert counsel on navigating the path to homeownership and building equity. 

Legacy & Wealth Building — Investment strategy, estate planning, and intergenerational wealth transfer. 

Youth Entrepreneur Track — Dedicated programming for young entrepreneurs, celebrating graduates of NCBW Phoenix’s Youth Entrepreneur Series (YES) program. 

Feature Plenary: “Policy Is Personal: How the Business of Government Shapes the Business of You” 

A signature plenary session featuring members of NCBW will examine the intersection of public policy and business ownership, connecting legislation to the everyday realities of entrepreneurship. The session will mobilize attendees to engage with and advocate within the policy landscape that directly affects their businesses and communities. 

Trailblazer Honoree: Latasha Causey, Phoenix Raceway 

The 2026 conference will honor Latasha Causey, President of Phoenix Raceway with the Trailblazer Award, recognizing her pioneering contributions to sports, business, and community. Her career exemplifies the Madam C.J. Walker legacy of opening doors and paving the way for those who follow. 

Speed Networking Add-On 

Attendees may add a structured Speed Networking session to their registration, providing direct access to entrepreneurs, investors, mentors, and community leaders. Speed Networking is included with VIP admission and available as an add-on for general admission ticketholders.
